This plan is just a guideline for you to ensure that there is some continuity in the programme, feel free to adapt it.
Aims:
Discuss progress since last meeting and university visits attended (if after). Use January's article of the month to discuss their perceptions of Oxford university.
Discuss entry requirements for courses and try to get students to understand the types of universities they are eligible for.
Look at requirements for personal statement; develop ways for student to enhance theirs, focusing on reading around the subject and getting involved with activities both in and out of school that will enhance theirs. Link to personal statement requirements on UCAS website
For next meeting:
Students to have researched books and magazines linked to their potential subject choice
Students to have RSVPed or attended at least 2 university visits out of the 3 planned (Oxford, Warwick, Cambridge)
