Meeting 4
Meeting 4 takes place after Cambridge Residential and students may want to wait until after their exams.
Aim:
Justify their course choices and back up their choices with evidence of reading
Use questions like 'Why do you want to study this degree', 'how do you know you will find this degree interesting?', 'Where do you think a degree in this subject will take you?'. Students need to start making decisions, please emphasis by October they should be applying, not January.
To have a first outline of their personal statement.
Next meeting:
Meeting 5 will be an activity meeting and should be held in a place of interst, preferably somewhere that might add weight or interest to their personal statement.
