Aims: Draft personal statement
Two thirds about why you love the course, one third on other things about you that make you a great candidate for university
What interests them about the courses they are looking at?
What reading have they done?
Consider work experience and write the skills gained
Use the UCAS site for advice and Pure Potential website has examples of good personal statements
Are students registered on the UCAS website? If you have time create a dummy account on UCAS to see the process for yourself, bear in mind that students need to pay £15 to apply, this is either by credit or debit card, however some schools allow students to pay them.

Students need to have completed the personal statements.
students needto have chosen their 4 or 5 university choices including at least one that they would get into with their current AS grades
