October – Interview practice day

University Vocabulary

Ggt hold of a couple of prospectuses, compare and contrast what the universities have to offer. Discuss possible drawbacks from using prospectuses (and university websites) as the only source of comparing institutions.

Look at any university vocabulary  have come across and ensure you understand the meaning of the following words:

UCAS, Undergraduate, Graduate, post graduate, Bachelors, Masters, PhD, Sandwich course

Campus, Halls (of residence), (self-) catered, Russell Group, Erasmus, NUS, SU, lecture, seminar, tutorial, fresher,

Are you reading around your subject? Have you looked at Article of the Month?

Meeting 4 should be taking place after Cambridge Residential, please prepare to start justifying your course choices and back them up with evidence of reading at this meeting. Youwill also need to have an outline of your personal statement.
